Acquia is looking for an exceptional visual designer to work on a contract to permanent basis. We're looking for someone who is fast, truly talented and passionate about great design with an appreciation for usability. In this role, you'll collaborate with internal creative, marketing and engineering teams to identify the vision of an entire site, page, UI component or advertisement and bring it to life.
Requirements:
3-5 years of experience designing user interfaces, workflows and various other creative assets.
Strong graphic design & typography skills.
Experience designing for theme based CMS packages.
Experience with Fireworks.
Online portfolio demonstrating all of the above.
Based in our Woburn, MA office, close to major highways and commuter rail.
Desirable:
Drupal theming experience.
Experience with user centered design principles
.
Experience with HTML, CSS and Jquery skills.
Experience with Flash & actionscript.
Experience working in an Agile environment.
